The story of Twin Pine Farm’s honey sweet bologna begins in the early 1950s, when our father, Robert Ilyes Sr., started crafting homemade bologna, hot dogs, and smoked sausages right in the basement of our original farmhouse.
In the early ’60s, Robert Sr. perfected a one-of-a-kind honey-sweetened bologna recipe—infused with natural honey to create a distinctive, rich flavor and a moist, tender texture that set it apart from any other in the region. This bologna became a true local treasure, beloved for its unique taste that reflects the heart and soul of South Central Pennsylvania.
